Goyki 3 AiR focuses on supporting the creative process and dialogue between artists from various disciplines. By offering space and time for residents, the goal is to support the development of new projects or the continuation of existing ones. Neither a final outcome of the residency is prescribed, nor a specific topic imposed. Thoughtful, research-based projects will be supported that take into account their location: the city of Sopot and the Goyki 3 Art Inkubator space.

The 2027 residencies will take place on:

• 05/04 – 05/06 (spring residence)
• 13/09 – 13/11 (autumn residency)

As part of the artistic residency, Art Inkubator provides residents with:

• a studio at the Art Inkubator headquarters;
• curatorial care during the artistic residency;
• building the resident’s contacts with the local art scene, organizing meetings and visits to institutions consistent with the resident’s artistic profile;
• accommodation in Sopot for two residents for the period of the artistic residency taking place in April - June, provided that the accommodation is chosen by Art Inkubator
• coverage of the costs of stay at the residence up to PLN 10,000 gross for each of two residents in the case of a residence taking place in September-November;
• a budget of PLN 2,000 gross to cover the project costs during the residency for each of the four residents;

To apply for the AiR Goyki 3 program, please submit an application form for the appropriate residency season – spring or fall – filled out with the following information:

• a proposal for a project carried out during the residency in Sopot (text of up to 500 words)
• contact details – name and surname, email address, telephone number, date of birth, country of residence

and attach:

• CV with most important current projects and awards in PDF format up to 2MB
• portfolio with artist statement containing up to 6 completed projects along with a technical description – maximum file size 3MB, PDF format required

Completing the selected form signifies that the individual has read and accepted the terms and conditions of the residency for the given period. Full terms and conditions are available HERE.

Each residency season lasts two months. During this time, residents are required to reside and pursue artistic activities in Sopot. Those awarded an artistic residency will be required to organize at least one public event.
